Baltimore Gothic Issue 1 launches the debut edition of a Baltimore-based literary magazine dedicated to Southern Gothic traditions and the darker, mustier corners of the human experience.

This inaugural issue gathers haunting short fiction that embodies the spirit of Edgar Allan Poe, Flannery O’Connor, and William Faulkner—featuring flawed, complex characters, atmospheric dread, grotesque undercurrents, and explorations of identity, ancestry, madness, and the eerie shadows of everyday life.
